Planning a New Year’s Eve Cruise on the Gold Coast
A private New Year’s Eve cruise lets you celebrate with your own group on the Gold Coast waterways. Before organising guests, food or transport, check the available sessions for 31 December and what each booking includes.

Start with the session, not the standard hourly price
New Year’s Eve bookings can have different times, prices and payment arrangements from regular charters. Confirm the date, departure, return time and total price for your chosen session before collecting money from the group.
Check whether the session suits your plans for the evening. Do not assume every New Year’s Eve cruise includes midnight or a particular fireworks display. Read the current session description and booking terms, and ask us if anything is unclear.
Discuss the route and viewing plans
The Gold Coast skyline can provide a memorable setting for the celebration. However, fireworks schedules, operating restrictions, weather and the skipper’s assessment affect the route and viewing position.
Confirm the expected plan with us before booking. A particular display, unobstructed view or anchoring position cannot be guaranteed. Leave your plans flexible enough to enjoy the private cruise as well as any celebrations visible from the water.
Confirm your guest list
The maximum is 25 guests aboard our 51ft motor yacht. Count everyone in your party, including children, and discuss any boarding or mobility requirements in advance.
Choose one organiser to coordinate payment and guest details. Share the confirmed start and finish times so guests can arrange transport. Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian throughout the cruise.
Plan food, drinks and music
BYO food and drinks are welcome, with no red wine onboard. We provide a large esky, ice, cups, plates, plastic champagne flutes and tumblers. Optional catering is arranged separately and should be confirmed for your date.
Prepare a playlist and nominate a phone for the sound system. Inspiration has indoor and outdoor entertaining areas, bathroom facilities and onboard Wi-Fi. Bring weather-appropriate clothing for time on deck after dark.
Small, removable decorations are permitted, but no confetti or permanent adhesives. Styling is not included. Confirm any larger setup or external entertainment with us before booking suppliers.
Allow extra time for boarding and the journey home
Meet at the public pontoon at 73 Cavill Ave, Surfers Paradise QLD 4217. Guests should be there 10 minutes before the confirmed departure, with additional time allowed for the journey into Surfers Paradise.
Parking at Circle on Cavill and surrounding streets is paid. Check current access, parking and transport arrangements for the night rather than relying on an ordinary weekday journey time. Arrange the return trip around your confirmed disembarkation time.
