A 20% surcharge applies to the standard $690 per hour including GST on public holidays, including New Year’s Day and Boxing Day. Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve have separate pricing, as shown below.

How your booking is secured
Choose online booking or arrange your booking with us directly. Your date and time are secured once payment has been received and your booking confirmation has been issued.

Booking directly with us?
For bookings arranged by phone or email, pay your $500 deposit using the bank details or secure Square payment link we provide. For bank transfers only, send a remittance or screenshot so we can match your payment.
Pay the remaining balance
The remaining balance is due 2 weeks before the cruise. Bank transfer is fee-free. Card payment is available on request.

The following prices are guides only and all add-ons remain subject to supplier availability. Include the required add-on when enquiring so it can be checked with the supplier.

Guide price: $160 per hour.

Guide price: $500 for approximately 30 minutes, for up to 14 people.

Guide price: $250 each way. Final pricing varies by pickup address and distance.

BYO food and drinks are welcome, and guests can connect a phone to the onboard sound system.
Decorations and styling
Inspiration Cruises does not provide decorations or styling. We did previously have a supplier, however they no longer offer this service as they’ve moved. Small removable items may be brought onboard when safe.
Decoration restrictions
Confetti and permanent adhesives are not permitted. Large installations and backdrops require approval before the cruise.
Boarding and arrival
Boarding is from the public pontoon at 73 Cavill Ave, Surfers Paradise QLD 4217 . Please arrive 10 minutes early so the cruise can depart on time.
Footwear
Non-marking or white-soled shoes are required, or guests may go barefoot onboard.
Safety and RSA
Safety and responsible service of alcohol requirements apply throughout the charter. Intoxicated guests may be refused boarding or service.

How much does a private yacht charter cost?
The standard private charter rate aboard Inspiration is $690 per hour including GST. Public holidays, including New Year’s Day, incur a 20% surcharge ($828/hour including GST). Christmas Day is $1,200/hour including GST; New Year’s Eve has separate session pricing.
What is the minimum booking duration?
A minimum booking duration of 2 hours applies. A standard 2-hour charter costs $1,380 including GST. Swimming stops require a charter of at least 3 hours, subject to availability, suitable weather and water conditions, the itinerary and the skipper’s approval.
What does the hourly rate include?
The rate includes private use of Inspiration, skipper and crew, the onboard sound system, a large esky and ice, plus cups, plates, plastic champagne flutes and tumblers. Planning a swim? Book at least three hours to allow time for cruising and a swimming stop. Use of our floating mat and paddleboard is included at no extra activity charge, subject to availability, suitable weather and water conditions, the itinerary and the skipper’s approval.
How does the booking deposit work?
The booking deposit is $500. Book and pay securely online, or arrange payment with us by bank transfer or a secure Square payment link. Your date and time are secured once payment has been received and your booking confirmation has been issued. Please send a remittance or screenshot for bank transfers only; online card payments do not require one.

Can we bring our own food and drinks?
Yes. BYO food and drinks are welcome, but red wine is not permitted onboard. Optional catering can be ordered directly through Simone’s Amazing Grazing .

Inspiration Cruises does not provide decorations or styling. Small removable items may be brought onboard when safe. Confetti and permanent adhesives are not permitted, and large installations or backdrops require advance approval.
Where do we board and what happens if the weather changes?
Boarding is from the public pontoon at 73 Cavill Ave, Surfers Paradise QLD 4217 . Please arrive 10 minutes early. Guests must wear non-marking or white-soled shoes, or go barefoot. Cruises operate in normal conditions. If conditions are considered unsafe, we will work with you on the best available option.
