Can we choose the exact route before the cruise?
You can tell us the destinations and experience you prefer. The final route is confirmed by the skipper based on charter duration, weather, tides, water traffic and safe operational requirements.
Can we visit more than one destination?
It may be possible depending on the charter length, distance between locations and conditions on the day. Longer bookings generally provide greater route flexibility.
Which destinations may suit swimming or anchoring?
Wave Break Island, The Spit and suitable South Stradbroke areas may suit swimming or anchor time when conditions allow. Swimming and water access require the skipper’s approval.
Which routes are best for sightseeing?
Surfers Paradise, the Nerang River, Isle of Capri, Budds Beach, Paradise Waters and parts of the Broadwater offer skyline, canal and waterfront-home sightseeing.
Can we cruise to Tipplers, Sovereign Islands or Sanctuary Cove?
These longer-route destinations may be possible with sufficient charter time and suitable conditions. Destination access and stopping arrangements cannot be guaranteed in advance.
How much does a private cruise cost?
Private charters aboard Inspiration are $690 per hour including GST. A minimum booking duration of 2 hours applies, so a 2-hour charter costs $1,380 including GST.
Can we bring our own food and drinks?
Yes. BYO food and drinks are welcome, but red wine is not permitted onboard. We provide a large esky and ice, plus cups, plates, plastic champagne flutes and tumblers. Optional catering can be ordered through Simone’s Amazing Grazing . Once ordered, let us know and we can help coordinate delivery timing.
Where do cruises board and what happens if the weather changes?
Boarding is from the public pontoon at 73 Cavill Ave, Surfers Paradise QLD 4217 . Please arrive 10 minutes early. Non-marking or white-soled shoes are required, or guests may go barefoot. Cruises operate in normal conditions. If conditions are considered unsafe, we will work with you on the best available option.
