Inspiration Cruises – Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to all charters booked with Inspiration Cruises, operated by Gisbro Pty Ltd (ABN 99158703569). By confirming a booking, you agree to the following:

1. Bookings, Deposits & Payments

  • $500 deposit required to confirm your booking.
  • Balance due 14 days prior to cruise.
  • Payment via bank transfer or credit card (fees may apply).
  • Late payment may result in cancellation without refund.

2. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Deposits are non-refundable.
  • We offer rescheduling in good faith, where possible.
  • Weather-related rescheduling is at no cost to you.
  • Failure to show results in forfeiture of all payments.

Travel Insurance: Recommended for interstate/international guests.

3. Weather & Safety

  • Captain may alter or cancel cruise due to safety or weather conditions.
  • Cruises operate on sheltered waterways only — no ocean cruising.
  • All guests must follow crew instructions at all times for their own safety.
  • Please be aware: Wet weather may result in slippery decks and surfaces. Extra caution must be taken when walking around the vessel.
  • All guests accept personal responsibility for exercising reasonable care, especially in wet or damp conditions.

4. Responsible Behaviour Onboard

  • BYO alcohol/food is permitted; antisocial or dangerous behaviour is not.
  • No illegal substances permitted. Serious misconduct may be reported to authorities.
  • Booking party is responsible for ensuring guests behave responsibly and respectfully.

5. Bond & Damage

  • A bond may be required for certain bookings.
  • Booking party is liable for any damage, excessive cleaning, or equipment replacement costs.
  • A minimum cleaning fee of $250 will apply for incidents involving bodily fluids (e.g. vomit) on carpets, furnishings, or bedding.

6. Guest List & Capacity

  • Maximum of 25 guests (plus crew).
  • Final guest numbers required at least 48 hours prior to departure.

7. Pickup, Departure & Timing

  • Primary departure: Mariners Cove Marina, Main Beach (unless otherwise arranged).
  • Please arrive 10–15 minutes early. Late arrivals may reduce cruise time.
  • Your charter time begins and ends at the scheduled hours regardless of actual boarding time.

8. Liability & Risk

  • All guests participate at their own risk. The vessel may be subject to movement, uneven flooring, or wet decks.
  • Gisbro Pty Ltd and its staff are not liable for injury, loss, or damage arising from slips, falls, or failure to follow safety directions.
  • Guests must take personal care while moving around the vessel, especially in wet or unstable conditions. Flat, non-slip shoes are strongly recommended.

9. Swimming & Water Activities

  • Swimming permitted at Captain’s discretion depending on weather, location, and guest behaviour.
  • All water activities are undertaken entirely at your own risk.
  • Life jackets are available upon request and may be required in some conditions.

10. Photography & Promotion

  • Guests are welcome to take photos for personal use.
  • Our crew may take promotional images during cruises. Please advise if you prefer not to appear.

11. Privacy

  • Your personal contact details are used solely for booking and communication purposes.
  • We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information.

12. Third-Party Bookings

If your cruise was booked via a third-party agency, these terms and conditions still apply. By boarding the vessel, you accept and agree to them regardless of booking origin.

13. Agreement

By paying your deposit, you agree to all the above Terms & Conditions. The booking party accepts full responsibility for ensuring all guests have read and understood these terms before boarding.
